KannaK Ank ("we", "our", or "the app") is a Vedic numerology tool. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
The app allows you to enter names and dates of birth for numerology analysis. This data is stored locally on your device. If you sign in with a Google account, your profiles are also synced to our secure cloud database (Google Firebase Firestore) so you can restore them on another device.
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymous usage data such as app opens, screen views, and crash reports. This data does not include your name, date of birth, or any personally identifiable information. It is used solely to improve the app.
If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your Google account email address and display name. This is used only to identify your cloud-synced data. We do not share this information with any third party.
Profile data synced to the cloud is stored in Google Firebase Firestore, secured so that only your account can access your data. Local data stays on your device and is not accessible to us.
The free version of KannaK Ank shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To serve ads, AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID and certain device information. This data is used by Google to display and measure ads. You can reset or limit your advertising ID at any time in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads). For more information, see the Google Ads Privacy policy. Users who purchase the lifetime unlock no longer see ads.
KannaK Ank offers a one-time "lifetime unlock" purchase processed through Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store your payment card details — all payment processing is handled securely by Google Play. We receive only a confirmation of whether a purchase was made, used to unlock paid features and restore them on your devices.
We use the following third-party services:
• Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics) — Firebase Privacy
• Google AdMob (advertising) — Google Ads Privacy
• Google Play Billing (in-app purchases) — Google Privacy Policy
• Wikidata — used for celebrity birth date lookup (no personal data sent)
You can delete all your locally stored profiles at any time within the app. To delete your cloud-synced data, sign in and delete your profiles, or contact us at kannaksamhitha@gmail.com. Full step-by-step deletion instructions are available at our data deletion page.
KannaK Ank is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app.
